About Us

The Malad Chamber of Tax Consultants is an Association having over 1400+ members from diverse professional practitioners like Chartered Accountants, Advocates, Company Secretaries, Cost Accounts and Tax Practitioners. The Chamber was established in the year 1978 with the main objective of spreading knowledge amongst its members in particular and public at large in general. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public trust Act, 1950.

MCTC is regularly conducting Study Circle Meetings, Seminars, Workshops, Refresher Courses etc. on the subject of Direct and Indirect Taxes as well as on the subjects of professional and self-development and social causes. MCTC also organizes activity of providing practical training to under graduate students on the subjects of taxation and accounts.

Since last Thirty five years, MCTC has also been organizing Public Meetings on Union Budget. Large number of persons, comprising of Businessmen, Industrialists, Professionals, Bankers and General Public take the benefits of the meeting.

MCTC also makes effective representations before the Union and State Governments and also before the Departmental Authorities of Direct Tax, Indirect Tax and Company Law. Since last Twenty-eight years, MCTC has also been coming out with a publication, within 48-72 hours of announcements of the proposals of the Union Budget, explaining the direct and indirect tax provisions in a lucid manner. MCTC is pleased to place before you 26th Edition of its most awaited budget publication. It is well appreciated by professionals, business community and common men alike.

MCTC also brings out monthly E-bulletin for its members with monthly Direct tax, Indirect tax and recent Case laws update. In the current year, MCTC has conducted various webinars and workshops both physically and on virtual platform for the benefit of its members. We have also organized many joint programs with our sister associations which include AIFTP(WZ), BCAS, CTC, GSTPAM and WIRC.

MCTC also felicitates the children of its members for their outstanding academic achievements every year. The ultimate aim of the Chamber is to spread knowledge and create social awareness with untiring zeal .
